Exceptional painted and glazed 7" tall seated Pluto ceramic figurine w/mark on underside for this Italian company as well as "W 47" designation and "Walt Disney" paper label. Zaccagnini signed a contract w/Disney in 1947 which lasted about ten years. This piece features Pluto in expressive seated pose, mouth open w/tongue dangling out.

(Zaccagnini, 1940s) A rare and exceptional painted glazed ceramic figurine of Pluto produced by Zaccagnini of Italy in the 1940s. Known for their expressive poses and beautifully painted ceramics, Zaccagnini Disney figurines are considered the best ever produced. Measuring 9.25"x4"x6.75" tall, the figurine is in fine condition with stamp on bottom.

An extremely rare Zaccagnini Disney Pluto Sitting. Likely to be made by Mario Bandini in the late 1930's early 1940's. Polychrome Ceramic. Pluto does show signs of wear from age/storage. There are some paint and ceramic chips to the eyelids, ears, leg and back. He stands at 17.2cm. Please see pictures for further details. Will be well packaged to avoid any movement or damage during transit.
